SUNDAY MORNING SHOOTING (MARCH 1990)

Loyalists drove into the Clonard area on a Sunday morning looking for a Catholic. Their victim was outside his home. They shot him and drove back to the Shankill area across Lanark Way — an escape route used on previous occasions by killers. This was a purely sectrian murder, carried out at random.
