SNIPER AT WORK (SEPTEMBER 1993)

I’d been told about the sign, but it didn’t make a picture in itself. I waited, nervously, for several hours. Nothing happened. Tractors passing were the best I could get. Suddenly this rabbit hunter appeared on the road. I couldn’t believe it. I had time to take only a few frames. The sign had a certain black humour for many locals, but others found it intimidating. IRA snipers had killed several policemen and soldiers along the border.
